ABC & Bob Woodward

Tuesday night there was a GREAT show on ABC. Bob Woodward "To Iraq and Back".. I am in NO MEANS suporting ANY network here just thought you all (if you missed it) should check out this video. It is in different chapters so watch them all.. Bob and ABC have done AN AWESOME job telling the story about his journey, treament and about ALL OUR TROOPS who have been injured..

I hope you all watch this and realize that other than what you see on the news there are a LOT of troops who will NEVER BE THE SAME.

Heroes-1

For those HEROES fan out there.. If you missed the episode last night, you miss a lot.. There is a link to the a HEROES blog over there on the left side (well it's on the left now, until I change the layout again).  The show is getting good and VERY VERY close to the season finale.  I guess once HEROES is over for the season, RESCUE ME will keep us occupied until season 2.. If you miss it, you better get caught up because it's getting even better next week !!!!

Well both older boys made the middle school JV team.. I guess the varsity is mostly 8th graders.. They will not admit to it but I know they are both happy. Once they actually start playing an get their uniforms we'll have some pictures posted for you all.

Hemi Ramses

I wanted to update everyone on our new family member.. Hemi Ramses joined our family last Friday after a short flight from Okalahoma.. He is a beautifull little dude, 15 weeks old. He was born on November 7th. The breeders named him Hemi, we added Ramses because he has eyes that make him look like a Pharaoh.

Hopefully all these pictures satisfy you for now, we have more and more real soon !!

National Anthem - AWESOME

This past week our base started using the loud voice system to play the national anthem, taps and revile. Why you ask do I waste my time on myspace to tell you this..

BECAUSE I THINK IT's AWESOME !!!!!!

I bet there were plenty of personnel around here clogging up the phone lines and e-mail boxes on the commander's desk just to complain about how loud it is or why they have to listen to it at HOME..

Let me tell you this, if you think that listening to the words our troops are dying to protect, and the words that stand for the freedom we enjoy is TOO LOUD, I apologize for you not understanding..

It only takes a few minutes to stand there and RESPECT or sit in your house and RESPECT "OUR" national anthem..EVERYTIME you hear it, take a minute to reflect on those troops PAST & PRESENT that have died, are dying, or are fighting for YOU!!..

FEEL Free to RACE me to the phone line or e-mail address and THANK your commander..Take the time to say THANK YOU "BEFORE" all the DISGRUNTLED citizens complain about it !!

Ok, so to explain why I wrote this, because I saw one post in the paper about some one COMPLAINING that when they were on hold they "HAD" to listen to the AIR FORCE news.. ARE YOU FRIGGIN kidding me!! ..That's why...

Hemi has arrived

Well we did it.. Hemi has joined our family.. No no HEMI as in the Engine of a new car but HEMI as in our new Puggle. This is the picture from the Internet.. I will be posting more as we get them.. I tried sending some photos from my phone but they didn't come through. I will have more posted tonight.. We're thinking about adding a middle name "Ramses" like the Pharaoh.. Hemi's has eyes that make him look like a Pharaoh...

New friend

We have been looking at puppies. Tammy really wants one and I am just about done with the battle.. I have attached a picture of the type we are looking at. It's a newer cross breed between a Pug & Beagle..It's called a Puggle (with a SMALL "U" sound)..

anyway, if we do end up getting one I will be sure to POST Lots of pictures here..
